Proposed Deletion

[edit]

I have removed the Proposed Deletion notice which claimed that Mhamed Arezki is not notable enough to merit a page. I believe he is notable enough for the following reasons:

  • Mhamed Arezki had a starring role in more than one French television series. The most notable being Les Bleus [1], a series that is prominent enough to have it's own Wikipedia article and imdb page with pictures.

  • Les Bleus won the following awards :
    • Festival du film de télévision de Luchon 2006 : Grand prize for series
    • Festival du film de télévision de Luchon 2006 : Best young actor : Mhamed Arezki
    • Festival du film de télévision de La Rochelle 2007 : Best series

  • Mhamed Arezki was the only actor on Les Bleus to win an award for his role:

Festival du film de télévision de Luchon 2006 : Best young actor : Mhamed Arezki

  • Mhamed Arezki is notable enough to have his own article on the French Wikipedia.

  • Mhamed Arezki is the second actor credited in Zim and Co., a film that is considered important enough to have it's own Wikipedia page.

  • Mhamed Arezki is also in The Tourist, an American film starring Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp.

Mhamed Arezki is as notable in France as many American actors who have their own articles on here are notable in America. Since English Wikipedia aims to represent a global point of view for English speakers I feel this article is relevant. Louieoddie (talk) 13:39, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Details Missing

[edit]

I can't find out his birthday so could use some help there.

Also, it'd be nice if someone could figure out how to put a picture of him up without breaking any copyright laws. I would just put a screen cap of him from Les Bleus where he's making one of his funniest smiles but I've never done this before and I don't want to break any laws.
